Los Angeles, CA Six people, including four family members, are dead, killed at the scene of a multi-car collision on the westbound Pomona Freeway in Diamond Bar, CA in which driving under the influence is the suspected cause. According to media reports the two others killed included the sister of the woman driving a Chevy Camaro, who was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and manslaughter.

Litchfield, CT Julian Morris says that a LawyersandSettlements article regarding his DUI case in 2008 was used as evidence that he had been harmed. His attorney demonstrated that Morris’ reputation was damaged because the article was viewed nationwide. “The defense argued that my reputation wasn’t damaged because nobody—except locally--knew about my case, but your article proved them wrong,” says Julian.

Springfield MO An Oklahoma man who was fleeing law enforcement officials from Kansas and Oklahoma, crashed his vehicle into a Missouri State Trooper's car, near the Missouri state line, and was subsequently arrested.

Springfield, MO A fatal car accident that happened March 19, killing a woman from Aurora, is under investigation by the Missouri Highway Patrol, who suspect that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.

Mansfield, OH Driving while under the influence is, of course, morally reprehensible and all the clichéd adjectives apply: foolish, stupid, dangerous, irresponsible. However, if you are ever pulled over for drunk driving, just hope that it's in Ohio, where State regulators have adopted, in principle, a machine that is facing lawsuits in several other states as being unreliable. The latter can affect DUI law and a good DUI attorney can certainly use a tester with a dubious reputation to help your case.
