Online Legal Media's Declaration of Independence - to you

At Online Legal Media, we believe in maintaining our independence as a news source. That's why there are no attorneys on our editorial staff—yes, some of our Contributors are attorneys but none of our legal journalists are. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to provide independent and balanced news. And that's something we take very seriously.

We do, however, welcome news and press releases from attorneys and law firms - and many of our interviews are with attorneys from the top law firms in the country. Since class actions, lawsuits and legal proceedings are complex in nature, our aim is to bring legal news to our readers that's understandable and free of legal jargon whenever possible.

Meet our Team: Not a Lawyer in Sight (and that's a Good Thing)

Our team is comprised of journalists, investigative reporters, marketers, SEO experts, editors, sales reps, account managers, PR pros and social media hounds—but no lawyers, or lawyer "wannabe's". We're here because we're consumers—just like you—and, like you, we care about the legal issues that have an impact on everyday life. While there are no lawyers on our team, we do welcome editorial submissions from qualified contributing writers, including press releases and legal perspective or analysis from attorneys.
