Environmental Law cases can include a wide variety of consumer-concerning events such as pollution, chemical spills, toxic waste dumping, wetland destruction, land development, solid waste, natural resource usage, wildlife protection and Indian Rights.
Many of these environmental issues are governed by State and Federal Laws under the guidance of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The mission of the Environmental Protection Agency is to protect human health and the environment. Backed by these laws, individuals or groups can bring attention to environmental problems and take action through class action lawsuits.
If you feel that a neighbor, a business, or a government entity is violating an Environmental Law or Environmental Code, submit your case for a free evaluation from an environmental law attorney.

EPA Evaded Power Plant Mercury Reductions, Violated Law
It has been ruled by a federal appeals court that the Clean Air Act has been violated by a rule created by the EPA. The EPA evaded cuts in toxic mercury pollution from oil-fired power plants and pollution from coal that violates environmental law. This ruling takes the validity out of the EPA's "Clean Air Mercury Rule." This rule would have permitted dangerous levels of mercury to be emitted and continue under a weak cap-and-trade program that would not have gone into full swing until somewhere way beyond the year 2020.
