OLM's principal activity is researching and publishing news for the legal community and for the public sector. This is done both as a public service and as a business.
The content for OLM news comes from OLM's research department and from interviews with lawyers and victims. Articles and interviews are published on a daily basis. OLM also posts press releases submitted by law firms for internet distribution. OLM is recognized as a Google News source (Lawyers and Settlements).
OLM also produces a news digest which supplies links to other internet news items relating to legal issues. These resources are viewed extensively both by the legal community and the public.
OLM produces a weekly Newsletter which features some of the information from the LawyersandSettlements.com website.
The OLM publications support themselves by accepting advertising. Legal advertisements have a form attached that is auto-forwarded exclusively to the advertising lawyer whenever it is filled out.
OLM also accepts advertising on its Newsletter.
OLM has no lawyers on staff, nor is it owned by, or associated with, any law firm.
