Santa Rosa, CA: (May-08-08), Inc. brought a lawsuit against RealNetworks, Inc., alleging that the company infringed on its patents. In a recent development in the case, sources stated that the two sides had reached a settlement agreement, resolving the dispute.

Under the terms of the deal, RealNetworks agreed to pay Burst a one-time payment of $533,500 cash for a license to a subset of the Burst patents.
