Anaheim, CA: (Mar-12-07) Willdan Group, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced services to public agencies, was charged by the City of West Hollywood for breach of contractual agreement with its engineering services subsidiary, Willdan. The dispute stemmed out of a construction project for the improvement of Santa Monica Boulevard. The matter went to trial in the fourth quarter of 2005 and a jury rendered a verdict in favor of the City of West Hollywood, awarding damages in the amount of $6.3 million. The settlement involves Willdan paying the City of West Hollywood $6.2 million in cash and providing the city a credit of $85,000 towards future services.
