Amega Sales Inc.

A lawsuit was filed against the mobile home distributor and manufacturer alleging it improperly kept customers' down payments, misrepresented customers' ability to obtain financing and made false promises about its mobile homes and services. After the Better Business Bureau in St. Louis processed 34 Amega complaints in the past 36 months, the Missouri Attorney General sued the company in March 2004 on behalf of approximately 70 customers.
