Major Cosmetics Manufacturers and Retailers

Major corporations such as L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Target, Chanel Inc., Christian Dior Perfumes Inc., and the Neiman Marcus Group have agreed to give away $175 million worth of products to settle a class action lawsuit accusing the companies of price fixing. Approximately 39 million customers who purchased upscale cosmetics or fragrance items between May 29, 1994, and July 16, 2003 will be eligible for a small share of the settlement.
