Reports of Fire and Burns Prompts Recall of Chenille Robes

About 162,000 ful length women's chenille robes sold through Blair LLC, are being recalled because some of the garments fail to meet federal flammability requirements and present a risk of serious burns to consumers if they are exposed to an open flame.

To date, Blair has received 3 reports of the robes catching on fire, including 1 report of second-degree burns.

The robes were sold through Blair catalogs and its Web site, and Blair stores in Warren, PA, Grove City, PA, and Wilmington, DE, from January 2003 through March 2009 from about $20 to $40.
