Weight Watchers Recalls Plush Hungry Figures and Magnets

Needles Found in Stuffing

Weight Watchers is recalling approximately 420,000 Hungry Figures and Hungry Magnets in the US, and a further 25,000 in Canada, because sewing needles have been found in the stuffing of the Hungry Figures, posing a puncture hazard to consumers.

Weight Watchers has received 2 reports from company employees of a sewing needle being found in 2 Hungry Figures.

The Hungry Figures and Hungry Magnets have orange plush exteriors. The Hungry Figure is about 6 inches long and the Hungry Magnet is about 4 inches long.

The items were sold exclusively by Weight Watchers between April 2009 and July 2009 for between $4 and $7.
