Wal-Mart Recalls Defective Women's Shoes

About 200,000 pairs of women's shoes imported by Wal-Mart are being recalled because the heels on the shoes can easily detach, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

This recall involves women's sling-back, pointed-toe shoes sold under the George brand. The shoes were sold in 3 colors; black, grey and purple, and in sizes 5 ½ to 11.

The shoes were sold at Wal-Mart stores nationwide from June 2008 through December 2008 for about $13.
