Wagner Spray Tech Recalls Paint Sprayers
About 35,000 Wagner Paint Sprayers are being recalled because the on-off switch can be dislodged from the casing, resulting in exposure of electrical connections. This can pose an electrical shock hazard to the consumer.
This recall includes the Wagner Control Spray Plus Model 0414248. The model number can be found on a white label located on the side of the motor housing.
The paint sprayers were sold by major chain home centers and hardware stores nationwide from August 2007 through April 2009 for about $99.
