Kroger Beef Recall Expands


Customers Also Advised to Check Frozen Meat

The Kroger Company has issued a further advisory of its June 25 E. coli tainted ground beef recall, to include meat sold at Fred Meyer, QFC, Ralphs, Smith's, Baker's, King Soopers, City Markets, Hilander, Owen's, Pay Less and Scott's with overlapping sell-by dates from mid-May through mid-July.

Kroger is contacting customers through signage in meat shops and store meat departments, as well as by telephone where possible.
