Possible Melamine Contamination Prompts Recall of Koala March Creme Filled Cookies


Initial Recall Issued by Manufacturer September 29

Lotte USA, Inc, has initiated a nationwide recall of all its Koalas' March Cookies because they were produced in China and may be contaminated with melamine. The recall includes chocolate, strawberry, white chocolate, chestnut, Hawaii chocolate, and Hawaii pineapple flavors. The products are packaged in a plastic overwrap.

The products were distributed nationwide and to Canada through wholesale distributors and retail stores.
