Faulty Airbags Prompts BMW Recall

150,00 Vehicles Recalled

Approximately 150,000 BMW vehicles will be recalled in North America by the luxury car manufacturer, because of a possible defect in an airbag sensor. This defect could prevent the front passenger airbag from inflating.

Models affected include certain 2006 3-Series, 2004-06 5-Series and 2004-06 X3 vehicles.

BMW is advising passengers not to use the front passenger seat until the vehicle has been appropriately serviced.
