Microsoft Corp.

This is a settlement for the Antitrust lawsuit.

Littlerock, AR: A class action lawsuit was filed alleging the firm overcharged customers for software. The class was filed on behalf of Arkansas customers who purchased software from January 1, 1998 through December 31, 2004. The case claimed Microsoft violated Arkansas laws pertaining to anti-trust, consumer protection, and unfair competition by overcharging customers for some of its operating systems, word processing, and spreadsheet software. A proposed class action settlement notes Microsoft will distribute up to $37.8 million in vouchers that eligible consumers and businesses can redeem to buy computers, peripheral computer hardware, or computer software made by any manufacturer.
