Calgary - In 1992 Steven Kaminiski was convicted of raping a co-worker and sentenced to seven years in prison. It was later revealed the female complainant had sex with the Mountie assigned to investigate the case, as well as with a prosecution witness. Kaminsk served his entire term and was released in 1999. He sued the Canadian Federal Government and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for wrongful imprisonment. Public account documents cited a $2.2 million settlement.
