Jeffrey Rempala

A U.S. Attorney filed charges against the dentist after a September 27 through October 12, 2005 audit revealed violations regarding prescription drug diversion allegations. The lawsuit claimed Rempala purchased and dispensed controlled substances at his dental practice on South Lindbergh Boulevard in Frontenac, MO; he was unable to account for a total of 1,812 missing dosage units of prescription medication. Rempala has agreed to pay a $70,000 settlement for violating civil provisions of the Controlled Substances Act. (May-19-06) [ST LOUIS BUSINESS JOURNAL]
