Hynix Semiconductor Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Infineon Technologies AG

This is a settlement for the Antitrust lawsuit.

An antitrust class action lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for Northern California in San Francisco alleging the three memory-chip makers conspired to fix prices for dynamic random access memory. Hynix Semiconductor, Samsung and Infineon did not admit to any wrongdoing, but have agreed to pay a $161 million class action settlement. South Korea's Samsung will pay $67 million while Germany's Infineon will pay $20.8 million and Hynix Semiconductor has agreed to pay $73 million. (May-12-06) [MSN MONEY]
