Polaris Industries Inc.

The ATV company allegedly delayed reporting defects in several of its sports models and is now paying a $1 million settlement. There were numerous reports of accidents and injuries associated with the Scrambler, Sport and Xplorer 400 models. The Consumer Product Safety Commission investigated two reports and found Polaris responsible for not informing government officials of product hazards as required by law. (Jan-13-05) [SEATTLE PI]
