Natural Country Farms

Natural Country Farms has agreed to spend $28,280 for environmental projects and pay a penalty of $7,541 to settle claims by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Apparently, the Connecticut based company did not report a release of anhydrous ammonia from its juice packaging facility. Approximately 6,134 pounds of anhydrous ammonia was released into the environment and over 1,500 people had to evacuate.
