State of Wisconsin.

A $365,000 settlement has been reached in a federal lawsuit filed by 4 convicted sex offenders who were kept in seclusion under Wisconsin's sexual predator law. The suit claimed that while they were inmates at the Wisconsin Resource Center in Oshkosh, the state illegally subjected the plaintiffs to long periods of isolation for disciplinary reasons although, according to state law, they could be secluded only for medical reasons.
