Portable Nightlights Recalled for Electric Shock Hazard
Washington, DC: OSRAM SYLVANIA Products Inc., has announced a recall of its LED Rocketship PalPODzzz Portable Nightlights. The recall was announced because the bottom plastic cover on the recharging base can break, exposing internal electrical components. The company has received three reports of consumers receiving minor electric shocks due to this issue.
Approximately 26,000 units are affected by the recall. The recalled units have a model number 72174 and a date code of either 0808 or 0908 printed on the label attached to the bottom cover of the recharging base.
