Lamplight Farms Recalls Replacement Torch Fuel Containers
Lamplight Farms Inc., together with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, announced a voluntary recall of Flame Guards on Clear-Vu Torch Fuel Containers. The recall involves approximately 720,000 containers and was announced after Lamplight received 35 reports of the fuel containers melting while the torch was lit. The company received one report of a minor burn injury.
The recalled products have "RC" stamped on the underside of the flame guard and were sold as replacements at nationwide stores from January, 2008, through August, 2009. The fuel containers that came with the torches are not part of the recall.
