Enteryx Recall

Enteryx, an Acid Reflux Treatment, recalled by Boston Scientific Corp. after several patient injuries.

Enteryx is a synthetic, chain-like structure injected into the patient's esophagus to block stomach acid from flowing upward. Several patient injuries resulted during the procedural process when doctors accidentally punctured the wall of the esophagus. One patient died during this Acid Reflux Treatment process.

I have a long history of complex health issues and invasive surgeries that all stem from having Enteryx and the horrific consequences of this disaster of a treatment. This has gone on for years and will have problems stemming from this likely for the rest of my life.
