Baptist Memorial Hospital

Were you looking for Caregiver Overtime lawsuits?

A representative action complaint has been filed against the hospital for allegedly failing to pay overtime compensation to employees. The lawsuit was filed in US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee on behalf of current and former employees, security guards, and nurses and claims Baptist Memorial Hospital violated the Fair Labor Standards Act. Baptist's payroll system automatically deducts half an hour for lunch, but emergencies often prevent employees from taking such breaks.

The suit further claims that Baptist has no written policy governing how it would account for hours worked before an employee's shift begins or ends or for work performed during unpaid break or lunch periods.
