Back Wages

Brooklyn, NY: (Jan-28-08) The US Department of Labor brought charges against Yu Wang and Chow Wa, owners of Amersino Marketing Group, alleging that they owed employees back pay. Both the state and federal departments of labor conducted numerous investigations into wage and hour violations throughout the Williamsburg and Bushwick areas, and found that the Brooklyn produce company had wage violations. As part of a settlement reached, sources close to the case stated that the company agreed to pay 14 employees back wages in the amount of $72,613 plus interest. The settlement was reached in order to resolve the lawsuit filed in Brooklyn federal court in 2007. [BROOKLYN DAILY EAGLE: BACK WAGES]
