Hair and Wrinkle Patent
New York, NY: (Oct-09-07) Shaldot Metal Works brought a lawsuit against Israel's Syneron Medical Ltd, alleging that Syneron infringed on its patents. Syneron, a hair and wrinkle removal device manufacturer stated that as part of a settlement reached, it will pay a one-time license fee of $100,000 to Shaldot Metal Works. Additionally, Syneron officials announced that the company will also make an investment of $1.05 million in QRay, a unit of Shaldot. The payouts will resolve all claims and allegations brought in the patent infringement lawsuit.
