Delaware, OH: (Apr-04-07) The Ohio Civil Rights Commission filed charges against Sheriff Al Myers, 57, alleging he wrongfully fired a deputy who had requested light duty during her pregnancy. The discrimination complaint reached a settlement wherein an arbitrator ordered the sheriff to reinstate the woman, who had resigned, as well as ordered Delaware County to pay her $150,000, ending the suit.
