Bakersfield, CA: (Mar-27-07) Kern County Health Officer Dr. B.A. Jinadu filed charges against the city after he was hit by a Bakersfield City School District bus. Jinadu, 52, was walking his son to Downtown School at 21st and M streets on May 31, 2005 when the accident took place, causing him to be hospitalized for two days for broken ribs and cuts and scrapes.
