Donald Horton and Christopher McCowen

Barnstable, MA: (Feb-22-07) Christa Worthington, a Cape Cod fashion writer, was murdered and killed by her garbage collector, Christopher McCowen, who was convicted in November 2006. Her family sued McCowen as well as his former boss, Donald Horton, owner of Cape Cod Disposal Co. accusing him of not doing enough to screen McCowen's criminal background before hiring him.
