Medegen

Northglenn, CO: The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed claims against the manufacturer on behalf of older employees for alleged age discrimination. In early 2003, Medegen laid off Northglenn workers older than 40 and treated younger employees more favorably. Medegen will pay $634,595 to eight former employees to settle the claims, provide a work environment free of age discrimination, and give further training to employees and managers in Colorado about age discrimination.
