George's Processing Inc.

The Department of Labor filed a lawsuit against the poultry processor for allegedly not compensating workers for time spent getting into and out of work clothes. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of current and former employees of George's Cassville, MO plant for not paying workers for time spent donning and doffing work clothes and time spent following sanitary procedures. George's Processing agreed to pay a $1.24 million settlement for uncompensated overtime hours. (May-11-06) [FOOD PRODUCTION DAILY]
