Gallatin County

Janis Sadlowski worked in the county Human Resources Department, but was fired in 2004 by the former county administrative officer. Sadlowski claimed she was terminated after revealing performance problems to a payroll clerk. She filed a lawsuit against the county alleging wrongful discharge and denial of equal protection under the law. Sadlowski was awarded a $145,000 settlement. (Feb-20-06) [KAJ 18 NEWS]
