Big O Tire

A Big O repair technician in Grass Valley installed new wheels on a Toyota pickup truck. A week later, while driving on Interstate 80 in Auburn, Jennifer Baker's vehicle was struck by that pickup truck's separated tire and wheel. Baker and her husband were in her Ford Ranger pickup that hit a guardrail, swerved left, and flipped over. Baker suffered paralysis on her right side; she and her husband sued Big O Tire for negligence and were awarded a $10 million settlement. (Sep-23-05) [AUBURN JOURNAL]
