High on amphetamines, alcohol, and marijuana Zachary Morris called the city police claiming he was trapped in his closet by intruders. After a four hour stand off, police stormed Morris' apartment but found no suspects. Morris armed himself with a rifle to protect himself from the imagined intruders. Police claim he pointed the rifle and fired at them when they entered his home. Two police officers fired one shot each at Morris. He was left permanently paralyzed from the incident and was awarded $100,000 for his injuries. (Jul-18-05) [KLFY NEWS]
