Moss Point School Board

Former superintendent Tressie Shaw Harper has agreed to accept a $250,000 settlement in return for her resignation. Harper had two years left on her contract as Superintendent of Education, but the school board gave her an ultimatum to resign or face termination. In the lawsuit, Harper claimed personal injury, wrongful termination and related damages and was awarded the $250,000 settlement. (Jul-15-05) [GULF LIVE]
