The creator of Roger Rabbit, Gary Wolf, has been awarded $180,000 in underpaid royalties for the box office hit. Wolf wrote a 1981 novel entitled "Who Censored Roger Rabbit". In 1983 he licensed the motion picture rights to Disney Company. Walt Disney's "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" motion picture went on to be a smash success at the box office, earning $330 million worldwide; it was awarded four Academy Awards.
