Rivera Vineyards

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit against the Californian grape company on behalf of several Latino women who were allegedly subjected to touching, groping, leering, and derogatory comments. The suit also claimed that when a longtime employee brought attention to any harassment, she and her entire crew were terminated. Rivera Vineyards has agreed to pay a $1.05 million settlement to the farm workers. (Jun-16-05) [HR BLR NEWS]
