Ken's Redi-Mix

Matthew Woods drove a cement mixer truck over the center line and killed three generations of a family in a minivan accident. Grandma Sandra Thrasher, her daughter Pamela Doyon, and her year old son Sam were all fatally wounded, while Doyon's three year old son Max was left comatose. Woods pleaded guilty to reckless driving; he was ordered to perform 1,000 hours of community service and was put on probation for 2 years. Under the proposed settlement, the insurance carriers for Ken's Redi-Mix, Wood's employer, will pay $3 million to the family and pay Max Doyon an additional $450,000 in yearly installments of $45,000.
