Rolling Meadows High School

During football practice, 17 year old, Robert Komosa ran into a fence post that fractured his first and second vertebrae and left him paralyzed from the neck down. His mother Barbara filed a lawsuit against Northwest Suburban High School District 214 alleging the fence post was too close to the field and should have been padded. The district's insurance policy will cover the $12.5 million personal injury settlement. (Apr-21-05) [NBC 5 NEWS]
