John Jablonski and his wife Dora were rear ended in their Lincoin Town Car in July of 2003. The accident caused the car to catch fire which killed Mr. Jablonski and left Ms. Jablonski with severe burns. The family filed a lawsuit against Ford alleging the location of the car's fuel tank behind the rear axle caused the fire. A Madison County jury awarded the family a $43.7 million personal injury and wrongful death settlement. (Apr-20-05) [TELEGRAM]
