The Ehrlich

Baltimore County Councilman Vincent J. Gardina Maryland was fired from his project manager position at Maryland Environmental Service. He filed a lawsuit against the company alleging his termination was based solely on his political status as a Democrat. Governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. took office in February of 2004 and is allegedly responsible for firing Gardina without just cause. Gardina holds and environmental degree in engineering and will receive $100,000 in damages. (Feb-07-05)
