A $200,000 verdict has been found in the lawsuit filed by 53-year-old Richard Summy. Summy was blinded in one eye when he was hit by a golfball from the city-owned Waveland Golf Course. The suit alleged that the city was responsible because they had not maintained a tree-line barrier between the adjoining first and 18th holes. (Oct-11-03) [KCCI]
