The emergency room at Eastern is below incompetent. I have had a bad experience there myself as well as several others. Odd how the ER sucks so badly, but once you are admitted and go upstairs to a room, it's like you are in a different hospital. One exception...you never get to see a doctor the whole time. Only nurses. It's been that way for a few years now. They need to either retrain the people there and hire doctors who know how to run an ER, or just shut down and let it be bought by Lovelace or Presbyterian.

In feb 2016 I was sent for blood tests, ultra sound tests and a cat scan, by Dr. PJ. He never got back to me with my results. I went to a dentist ,and after 10minuets in the dentist chair, he found I had a infected gum. He gave me a antibiotic and the large lump on my neck went away. All he had to do is look into my mouth. PJ never examined me before sending me for all those needless, expensive tests. He is either very incompetent or just dosnt care. In any case now I have a large bill to pay and have been abandon by him. I guess he's just too embarrassed to face me. Eastern new Mexico medical center is scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of the people they hire that claim to be competent doctors.

The medical profession is costing hard working people to go into debt, simply because the doctor is lazy, incompetent ,or just trying to make money frothe people he works for. They need to be policed and the working class needs help. If I was a unemployed drug addict, or a prison inmate, this would not have cost me anything. What's wrong with this picture?
