Aviation Charter Inc.

A $25 million insurance settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed against Aviation Charter Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minn., and its affiliated companies. The suit was filed in regards to the crash of a twin-engine Beechcraft King Air A100 as it approached Eveleth-Virginia Municipal Airport on October 25, 2002. Six passengers were killed in the crash, including the late Sen. Paul Wellstone, and their families will share in the settlement. (Aug-28-03)
