A $160,000 settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed against the Bozeman School District in Montana. The suit was filed by the family of Kelly Morgan who was killed in a drunk driving accident following the 2000 homecoming dance. The parents claimed that there was lax supervision on the part of the school, stating that the boy who drove the car, Brooks Haight "arrived at the dance intoxicated and continued to get intoxicated at the dance, and nobody did anything about it."
