Lead Paint.

A $2 million dollar verdict was awarded to a seven year old girl from Portsmouth, Virginia in regards to a lead-paint-poisoning case filed against the landlords of the building the girl lived in as an infant. Landlords Wallace and Florence Rich were found to have been negligent by not covering the toxic paint, as well as for not informing the family that the paint could be harmful. The girl will need medical assistance and monitoring for the rest of her life as a result of the damage her mind underwent from the exposure. (Apr-11-03) [PRESS RELESE]
