A massive accident in the Lincoln Tunnel involving a motorcycle, two buses, and a jitney has resulted in 30 people being injured, including the motorcyclist who is reportedly in hospital in critical condition.

The accident reportedly happened early Thursday morning, around 7:27 a.m. – morning rush hour – causing major traffic congestion for hours.

The motorcyclist, who is 'extremely critical condition' in Bellevue Hospital, was pinned under one of the two buses, according to reports from CBS News.

According to eye witness reports the second bus rammed into first bus when it stopped for traffic, and that pushed the first bus into the motorcyclist. James Riley of Old Bridge, NJ, who was on the second bus, told the NY Post, "We hit the bus in front of us and we pushed it forward."

The other 30 people injured are not in critical condition, and only some were sent to hospital following the accident.
