Los Angeles, CAPlaintiffs involved in Nexium lawsuits have opposed AstraZeneca's motion to dismiss the lawsuits. In all, up to 58 lawsuits are involved, with plaintiffs alleging they were not given the opportunity to fix reported issues with the lawsuits, including not having paperwork submitted in time. Nexium is used to treat acid reflux. Lawsuits allege use of the drug is linked to an increased risk of bone fractures.
